Opening steam locomotives

I want to change the front light on two steam locomotives of my roster. One is a Spectrum 2-8-0 Consolidation, the other is a Spectrum 4-6-0 "Ten Weeler".

I would like to know how to separate the body from the frame on those locomotives. I don't even know which screw or screws I need to work on.

Is there any documentation on these topics?

That link will get you started on opening the 2-8-0.

If you search my name (jonathan) and 2-8-0, you should get lots of info and pics about 2-8-0 headlights and their modification.  Lord knows I've done it enough times. 

Never worked on a 10-wheeler, but I've played with all the other Bachmann steamers.
