just a few questions

This is not meant as an argument starter, or flame war. Just a few questions that I don't know the answer to.

1. Why was the high-drivered 4-6-0 discontinued?

2. Did something happen to the back box Spectrum line?

3. I heard someone at a train show talk about both Plus & Spectrum lines being discontinued in favor of a DCC/Sound value line only. What is the story on that?

In other news, I am moving again & this time I actually have a place to build an actual layout. Photos when I get everything sorted.

1. No item stays in the line all the time. It is currently not being produced but may come back in the future.
2. Spectrum is still being produced but in more limit production runs.
3. Most Bachmann items are produced in DCC or DCC sound modes so that the customer has options as to what sound decoder they put into their model. Plus has been out of the catalog for probably 10 years. The quality of Bachmann's standard line items has increased to the point where many of the previous Spectrum items are now part of the standard line. Spectrum items will be released as a more limited series of items.
