yes sir! the only difference is mark ii has a metal spring, mark i's dont.

Yes.  And bc of that, EZ Mate Mark II's are better.

A tip: prior to installing EZ Mate Mark II's, take a tiny bit of CA Gel ("Crazy" Glue) Gel not liquid, dab some on a a toothpick or unraveled paper clip and put some on the back end of the knuckle spring, closest to the shank.  This will help with keeping the spring in place and will not effect performance.  Just a teeny tiny bit is enough.
