are the new fluted stream lined passenger cars stateside

 i see on another forum that states a large retailer in new york city TR WRLD is taking orders.checked their website and gives price but with a back order status.i don't see any new announcement regarding this fact on BACHMANN'S WEBSITE so am somewhat confused,but you never know.sure could use some for xmas but i think highly unlikely.but one never knows with backmann. look at the big surprize at this yrs NMRA  show,talk about well kept secrets.
maybe yardmaster in his wisdom can shed some light on this item.

These items were announced at the NMRA convention and will be included in the 2016 catalog. They will not be delivered until sometime this Spring.
