Trying to find age and if parts are available for a Red Christmas edition 1225 loco. North Pole & Southern. Has Baldwin Locomotive Works Philadelphia 1916 emblem on either side near smokestack. Lots of metal parts including drive and wheels. Lots of detail. Large scale. No coal tender with it. Thank you!

Hi Rockie53,

The locomotive in question came from a limited run set called the Wonderland Flyer.  There were two different versions of this set, but both had the same product number 90047

90047*   NP&S   Wonderland Flyer    2004   Ltd Run   Mixed   1225   Annie   Green Gon with Xmas gifts    NP&S Box 30647   Combine NP&S 1
90047   Notes:   Limited Run for Sam's Club with Anniversary 4-6-0 Has the complex Walchaert,s valve gear 5000 Sets made for 2004 only. Green gondola has two wreaths on the side

90047B   NP&S   Wonderland Flyer    2006   Ltd Run   Mixed   1225   Annie   Green Gon with Xmas gifts    NP&S Box 30647   Combine NP&S 1
90047B   Notes    Special run for Boscov's has Stephenson valve gear, gondola & boxcar have no blt date combine is the same.  The green gondola has two wreaths on the side.   This set was later sold by Bachmann without changes in the general catalog.

Without a photo is is not possible for me to tell which, but both are the "high end" version 5 chassis Anniversary 4-6-0.  There was only one difference between the sets except for some minor graphics changes. The original Sam's Club set loco had the complicated Walshearts valve gear while the Boscov set loco had the simplified Stephenson valve gear.

There are many parts available including a tender but not one painted to go with this loco you have. Please note that since these were limited run sets that specific color parts are probably not available.  Here is a link to the parts:

Have fun,
