considering 70 ton climax

I am looking at buying a 70 ton climax.
What are the opinions of getting one with "DCC Sound on board" vs getting one without and installing a Soundtrax decoder? would the sound be better one way or the other?

A: Only if you installed a better quality speaker and did a better job of installing the speaker.

In my opinion.........you would have a hard time beating Bachmann's set up on the 3 truck Climax with sound. I love mine and have made hardly any adjustments. They perform beautifully.

I would  also go with the factory sound on board with this one .If your into a little more deep end sound Clarity I would recommend in tight spaces a zimo sugar cube as a series wired second speaker to the original as a assist.They also give a diesels model more thump then if were to use the same size cone type of speaker.
