coupler part for the HO Acela passenger cars

I am looking for a coupler part for the HO Acela passenger cars. It is a round black plastic peg about 1/2" in diameter with a collar that the ball joint of the coupler assembly attaches to. The part fits inside the car on top of the frame, just above the trucks. I need about 4 but the part is not listed on the site. I tried to post a photo but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I already have those parts. I need the part that it attaches to inside/below the car.

After doing some additional checking on other forums, it looks like this is a common problem. It also appears the only way to get the part you're looking for is finding another car on eBay, Craig's List, or at a show for a reasonable price, and stripping it for parts.

No idea why Bachmann doesn't list the part, since it looks like having it break or go missing is not uncommon.
