"older" version of 50 ton Two Truck CLimax

I have two truck HO climax P/N 82802.  Is it DCC ready?  I know the new release but am not sure of the original release

If it's the run from about 10 years ago, then it should be DCC ready.

Open the tender and see if the 8 pin socket is there. All you should have to do is remove the coal load to see the socket.
