Bachmann DCC locos on non DC power pack

Will a Bachmann or any non DCC power pack still run DCC locos?  I need to send my EZ out for a dial repair and was going to get cheap non DCC pack to run the train during repair time.

Dear Plint,
An analog pack will run all our locos, as they have dual-mode decoders. This is not true for all decoders, however.
