HO scale hi-cube box car

I have the shells from three HO scale Lionel hi-cube box cars and I noticed that they fit on the frame of the Bachmann hi-cube box car and wanted to know if the frames are for sale.

I doubt that you can find the frames for sale separately from the
bodies. They wouldn't be difficult to scratch build.

have you thought about buying a silver series 40'boxcar just for the underframe? other than that, your best bet would be to go to a train show and look for a used athearn 40 footer.
