Have Class J 484 Freight Locomotive.  Hoping to find out what degree turn radius I need

Dear Bozz,
In model railroading, a measurment in degrees simply tells you what fraction of a circle you're dealing with. What you want to know is radius; in your case, 22" is a minimum.
