n scale motor noise

Have new 4-8-2 light mountain love it except motor noise when moving forward in reverse quiet as a mouse can it be fixed or send it back,we all tend to go forward more little bummed, waited awhile for the funds to get it

Break the loco in for a few days.
If it does not quiet down, return it to the shop where you bought it or call the service department.
