First of all, what scale? There are forums for different scales.

Now what do you mean by, true blast horn?

Dear BG,

If 3 rail AC it should work by connecting the sound board's power wires to the loco's rail pick-ups (center rail and outside rails).

The current Williams reverser boards pass the track power through to the sound board.

(Sound board plugs into the reverser board to get track power.)

If 2 rail DC it will not work.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

Thanks for the information, yes this is a 3 rail engine, do you know if williams sells these.

Hello, again.

The WBB TB II Whistle/Bell sound board is Bachmann Item #00246.

Whistle/Bell is what is mentioned in my 2010 catalog for the GS-4 (and all other steam locos).

The GS-4 also had an air horn:

Hope this helps.
