Spectrum Dash 8 40C standard cab

Hello Mr Bachmann
I have  new DCC ready dash 8 40 C diesel , Getting to the point , The front headlight  is very bright , bleeds through the shell behind the cab instead of coming out well at the number boards and headlight ,We removed the shell and found everything in order , but it looks like the clear lens fiber optic lense in the top of the cab does not carry the light to the front of the cab like it should ,,Is there a fix or a NEW PART FOR THIS TO OPERATE CORRECTLY? Thanks for your help in advance . Sorry about the caps , but typing is a little dysfunctional here.

Try using a little aluminum foil to block the unwanted light.

Great thing with the foil and a little rope caulk , sealed up every leak and have great front headlight and even the numbers boards light up ,,!
