I've taken the center screw out of the top boiler section but still can't get the top to come off. Is there another fastener that i can't see?

I just recently removed my shell as well. Once the screw is removed from under the dome you have to remove the cab for the boiler to come off. I turned my engine upside down and carefully removed the grab irons from the back of the cab. Once the grab irons were out I took a small jewelers screwdriver and gently pried the bottom of the cab away from the engine while slightly lifting up on the same side. This has to be done on both sides. Once the cab is off the shell can be removed.
