Bach-man, inquiring minds want to know ;D.   Can we at least get a picture of the model?

Hi Wade,

I heard a rumor that all of the announced but not delivered items will be out in Nov, Dec, possibly late October.

I wonder if this is another item that is announced, but never made!!

Will the Bach Man or the Yardmaster respond?  Please!

The bottom photo above (0474) is the scheme of the Bachmann item. We have just received a production sample so a photo of the model should be available soon.

What is the ancestry of this car?  Is it in Sloan's book?

An interesting question.  I always thought it was a converted UTLX Tanker, but maybe not.  I tried to check the roster, there is only one tank car on the D&S according to their roster of rolling stock and it is 0474.  I thought there were more when I visited two years ago, but I guess i am wrong.  The C&TS has several UTLX tank cars for sure.

I was thinking of kitbashing a fire car; but if this is coming (especially an "undec" version), I'll wait for it!  8)

the Grande had several water cars in the 047x series--so this falls into the realm of "Might have been's"  gj
