44579 crossing gates

I'm new at this and recently purchased some steel alloy e-z track. I also purchased a 'Dual Crossing Gates, Item No. 44579'. I noticed after I got home that the Crossing Gates packaging says "with Nickel Silver E-Z Track." Can I use these with my steel alloy E-Z Track without damaging either the trains, power packs or the two different types of tracks? Thanks for any help.

It will work fine.  However the next time you buy track I would buy the Nickel Silver E-Z Track." It will work much better than the steel.
