I have been working on a project for the last few weeks. It's a combination of SR&RL and Rio Grand caboose. Everything is scratch and no plans are used to make this project. Just pics and my mind.

No picture=it didn't happen!  ::)

Having a problem posting pics tried placing them on word then shrinking them but that didn't work.

You will need to post the pic to a site like photobucket, then copy the url and paste it here in your message?

Try it!

In the meantime here is a link to Dropbox which is like photobucket.

This is a caboose kitbash I did using the Bachamnn 2 truck  4 window caboose to make a shorter 2 window caboose.  I redid the interior and shortened the cupola as well. The Bachmann 2 truck caboose is a great item as it is, and a bargain with it's metal wheels!

Or use photobucket to post an image directly here to the Bachmann site like below:

The others on this site taught me these techniques, so give it a try and see what happens! We woukl love to see your project.

The caboose isn't finished, I'm just waiting for wood that I ordered.

Those sites are a little tricky for a oldy. I tried it and error any other way of making things simple.

USCG, I was able to see it so you are doing fine,  Looks like you are well on the way with the project.  If you want to post the image directly to the screen like I did, open photobucket, go to the links box on the upper right go down to the line that says IMG click on it, them come back to the reply here on the board and paste it in and the pic will show like mine did.

Have fun with the project!   Bill

Here's the latest update. Caboose is done except the lighting and took a test run with my train on the line, all is good except stability with the current trucks on the caboose, I would like to put arch bars on but Bachmann stop production on them. Any suggestions from anyone that could help me.

Looks good to me!    I would try Ebay. Sometimes you can get a whole boxcar or gondola for as little as $10 to $15.
