I'm in Montreal...and the last time I checked we use the exact same current, voltage as the USA...oh...yeah we sell a ton of the stuff to New England.....anyways...I model both UK and US and they all run just fine out of the box on my layout....

I have a 57xx 5775 and it runs like a champ! I really do agree they are excellent runners.

Someone else with a good taste in 57XX i see. I have that one as well and I love that little engine. It has great hauling power for an 0-6-0PT as it can pull all 7 of my Athearn heavyweight coaches (one of each type of HW coach that Athearn made) plus my Athearn streamlined SP baggage car.
