bought a trolley at train show ran fine for few days. Now it runs very slowly. What could be causing this?

It may be thirsty for some lube  But at the same time Ive had train motors last less than 20 hours before failing. Try cleaning the brushes and armature areas too. Carbon brush dust build ups can slow you too. especially if dust becomes oil saturated from sloppy over-lubes.
