I think you guys should make Lady the Golden engine to add to your Thomas and Friends variety. As a someone who makes model railroads I am very fond of the Thomas and friends items and I think you should consider making the Thomas and Friends Items more exciting and I have a feeling that you may make more money off of this engine because they don't use her anymore in the Television shows and many people have tried to make their own versions of lady. I think you should consider this and make it easier on some of the people that make their own versions of the TV shows.

I hope this gets to Bach-mann I wanted to remake her but It would be really hard Also put Diesel 10 in there

QUESTION for Bach-Mann are you guy's ever going to make Lady or Diesel 10?

P.S. Rollin I like this thread but some people will come at you for not putting this in the wishlist thread but i think it will be fine

Realistically, Lady's chances of ever being produced in the HO scale range are almost zero. She's only ever had one appearance, although it was a major motion picture. She's never been referenced to in the canon series or RWS. Not rendered in CGI yet. It's hard for me to imagine a scenario in which she would return to the series, which makes her chances at production, or even consideration for production, pretty non-existent.

I assume when Bachmann are in the process of trial and error for the next locomotive production, they take many factors into consideration, such as:
Popularity/familiarity
Customer demand/profit margin
Character recurrence/importance (how integral a character's role is, or how often the character is used)
Cost
If the toolings are readily available from subsidiaries

When it comes to Lady, she scores fairly low on almost all of these factors. However, she is fairly well-known among modellers and older fans, but that is her only attribute. Sorry to disappoint well-intended wishes, but she will most likely never be made. But that's the fun about modelling, if the desire is strong enough, you can make her yourself! :)

However diesel 10 appeared in three if I remember correctly.

And Bachmann is also very unlikely to make Diesel 10, mainly because of pinchy.
My wishlist for HO Scale: Stepney, BoCo, Fernando, Norman, Den, Dart, Porter, Samson, Timothy, Whiff, Hiro, Winston, and Green Salty.
My wishlist for N Scale: Edward, Spencer, Flying Scotsman, Duck, Oliver, Mavis, Sidney, 'Arry and Bert.

How many years ago was calling all engines..? 8?  and how long was the gap between that and Thomas And The Magic Railroad? 5?

just putting that out there.

I miss the old thomas not where diesels like to help not where someone gets a booboo but when the creators actually want their audiences to enjoy the show not for them to make money. I also think that there adding to many characters stick to the originals and make stories not every story another engine

It's not about the money, it's about the contents of the show being "viewer friendly," people don't want their children to be influenced negatively.

The 1990s generation is different from the 2000 and soon to be 2010 generation. They get a different audience every 4 years probably (children age 2 to 6 average), so changes usually are nessicary. When a totally new generation is the audience, that's when the changes are likely to happen. If the series needs to be watered down to fit these needs for the new generation then they shall happen. Its hard to let go of the series and accept these changes, but there is hope that the series will possibly slowly return back to the way that we knew and loved Thomas The Tank Engine.
