old doodlebug part

Hello,  many years ago I´ve purchased an HO EMC GAS ELECTRIC DOODLEBUGS item 81-407. It now has broken the plastic gear of one axle, in the motorized bogie, so has a jerky running. That part has not a specific number. So, please, I solicit you if is it possible your help. Thanks you

I suggest you contact Northwest Short Line (NWSL) and see if they make a replacement brass gear for your doodlebug. You may have to do some measuring of the old gear; but I will leave that up to them to tell you what is needed.

Bachmann lists front and rear power trucks for the doodlebugs on the online parts catalog. Would one of those not fix the problem? They seem cheap enough....to me anyways.
