How can I ajust the volume on the Bachmann 63402 sound equipped S2 deisel? I am using the EZ command 44902

You can't. The EZ Command is not capable of changing CV values individually.

If I used a different DCC system to ajust the volume up and then went back to the Bachmann DCC system would the volume be up or the same as before?

The CV's will remain. A memory chip on the decoder stores the values.
