longer cord for auto-reversing track system

I have the E-Z Track Autoreversing System working well but the cord from the controller to the track is far too short, about 3 feet.  I need an extender cord but do not know where to get one.  Radio Shack has many audio cords that fit but lack the right wiring inside.  I tried one but no dice!  I need a cord with three little rings on the male end.

How do I extend the cord from the track to the controller another 6 to 12 feet?

The easiest way to do this is not to do it. Just move the reversing unit close enough to the reversing section that the cable makes the
connection, and feed the reversing unit itself directly from your power buss. If you want to leave the reversing unit where it is, cut your
existing cable in half and splice in the length of wire needed to make your connection. That will use your connectors so you don't have to
try to find new ones.
