my 0-6-0 stopped running suddenly. I don't know why. I also posted this in genral disscusion.

burnt out motor ,  or the wiring, if its dcc burnt out decoder

not necessarily burnt out motor. you do people a disservice by saying so with as little info as was given. more likely dirty wheels or contacts. there are a number of reasons why it could have stopped working.

was the locomotive run on carpet? did it exhibit any unusual behaviour before it quit? is the track clean?
do other locos work on the same track with the same power supply? does the loco work on a different power supply? does it run if you touch a 9v battery to the drive wheels?
