Can anyone explain what the difference between EZ commander DCC 44902 and EZ commander walkthrough 44907 is?

Joe323

Sure the EZ command 44902 is the base for the EZ Command DCC System.  You need to purchase this to run EZ Command DCC.  The 44907 is a second control panel that allows a second person to operate the trains.  It plugs into the 44902 using standard category 5 ethernet cable.  You can operate the trains from either throttle once connected.

Thank you very much.    We can't use 44907 alone, right?  How to operate the sound equipped train with 44902?

Correct. The 44907 requires the 44902.

Check the instruction sheets for your locos and controllers.

If you are refering to a DCC sound equiped locomotive the sounds  are operated in the function mode, which is the yellow button on the EZ Command  For Bachmann Sound Value Locomotives for example f1 is the bell f2 is a short horn or whistle F3 is the long horn (runs till it is pressed again). F8 is mute F10 is lighting.

Suggest you read the manual which is posted on this site elsewhere.

BTW If you intend to do any programming on the loco other than its address you will need a more sophicated DCC system then the EZ command.  Something to consider before you invest a lot of money in EZ command.

Please ask your questions only once. Multiple posts won't get
information any faster or better; it just plugs up the system
and irritates people. Thanx.
