Is there some easy way to take apart (unfasten) a circle of ho ez track? I've broken a couple of sections trying to get the track apart to put my Christmas tree layout away.

I usually wiggle the tracks horizontally from side to side while pulling lightly apart . this releases the plastic beneath the tracks and allows the rail joiners to slide apart. J2.

J2's idea is a good one but be careful not to twist the track sections
as that can pop the rails out of their plastic "spikes."
