Spectrum Doodlebug decoder installation

I looked at the instruction sheet, but can't tell how to remove the body shell to install a DCC decoder in a Spectrum Doodlebug.  Got a short description of the steps to remove the body shell (or roof section)?  I am planning on installing a DH123 decoder, will I need to cut the green wire?

Work a knife blade carefully around the frame. The shell will then lift off.
