Retrofit Analog Sound on HO Steam

Hello,
  I have most of the latest Bachmann HO steam engines.
I'm NOT interested in DCC but love Analog Sound.
  Do your latest releases with sound work on an analog
basis? If so, do you sell that sound system to retrofit
on engines equipped for DCC?

There are a few systems that allow the operation of DCC sound decoders on analog layouts. (I mean sound & functions) I'll look around real quick and find a few links...

EDIT found one. Its an MRC Blackbox, works on any dual mode decoder. (Including sound)

Hi,
  thanks for that. I do have something like that
to trigger sounds on my wife's "Christmas train."
 
  What I'm trying to do is to put "sound on board"
my engines.

Oh, my bad. And, I dont completely understand the question, are you trying to put sound on regular engines? Or trying to use Bachmann's Sound on Board engines on an analog layout?

If that is true, it would seem that the sound unit would be available for DC installations?! Anybody understand it differently?- Mike S.

All BLI/PCM models with sound, work on both DC and DCC - but they are all digital sounds.  The Bachmann, Atlas, P2K and other similar models equipped with QSI®, LokSound, Soundtraxx Tsunami, and similar decoders will provide sound options on DC.  Again, they are all digital sounds.

There are some analogue sound systems still available, based on the old PFM system.  These are some serious $$$$ - and getting more expensive due to an ever shrinking tiny market.
