I just came into and received a "Williams Hudson 4-6-4" Engine and coal tender.  It is Gold plated I believe or solid brass, it weighs a ton; and I believe it is O gauge.  I can not find any information on it.  Does anyone have any information, value or links I can go to on this.  It seems to be rare because most of the collection I have received is rare, I have been able to find info on all the other engines and sets (AF, Lionel etc.) and most are from the 50's and are collector sets.  I believe this to be from the 50's also.  Any help would be great.

Dear Hudson464,

There are a number of old threads here on the Bachmann board.

Hit the search button above, and type in "Williams brass".

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

I may be wrong but I didn't think Williams was making/importing trains in the 1950s.

Thanks.

I was incorrect on the Williams being from 1950's;  all the other things I received are from the 50's for the Lionel and A/F's, but everything I read/seen on the Williams is it is more modern.  It looks like Williams started around 1971.

Thanks
