true blast horn does not work

just bought a brand new sd-45 unit with true blast, but it does not work (horn or bell). I kinda hear a faint sound, but not really. any suggestions for an easy fix, or do I need to return the unit?

             671 here. Check out a post started by me on March 20 2011. True Blast II Problems. I think you will find a simple solution to your challenge.
             This seems to be a common challenge with the True Blast II

I recently purchased a WBB F3 with the same problem...I returned mine to my LHS and they gave me a new one....since this is brand new and under warranty, I would suggest you do the same.

I have a large assortment of Williams and WBB Locos, and this is the first one I have ever had a problem with.
