drive out of sync on my niagara 4 8 4

My connectors on drive wheels are out of sync i have been told that on the old bachmann plus units this is a common occurence. it has been in box for 20 yrs and i have dcc set up but wheels lock any suggestions ? Glenn

By a NWSL quarterer. Follow the instructions. Patience required. I have done  few steamers with a Quarterer.
