Bachmann 4-8-4 DCC ready

Have one of the new 4-8-4 #3777 Northerns.  Won't move until at least 40smph, then won't even hardly gain speed up to full.  Have several Spectrums that won't move until 20 smph but they top out ok....What is the problem, and why is it so prevalent?

     Every locomotive that I have ever had does the same thing.  But now that I have recently purchased the E-Z Command from Bachmann, They seem to begin moving sooner that 40.  I can't tell you why or anything like that, but all I can say is it does.
