Just shot this short video of my new Sound value Mogul after shopping to convert her to be oil fired by replacing the coal bunker with a home built oil bunker.

Finished the paint work and correct lettering and am really quite pleased with the way it turned out....also looks just a bit more husky with that chunky lookin' tender yeah think! heh'

Excellent job but if you will permit one minor nitpick?

On a real oil burning tender they usually have vent pipes for the oil tank otherwise, as the fuel is used, the lowering fuel level will create a partial vacuum in the oil tank and the oil pump will not be able to supply oil to the firebox and the fire will go out

The correct vents are available from the usual brass detail suppliers.

Yes plan on simply using a bent piece of brass wire to simulate a vent pipe
