I don't know what you are measuring, but what you need to measure is the wheele base.  You can have overhang as long as the wheele base fixs on the TT.

Yes, but it is best to have a bit of play. You technically can fit a connie on a 9" turn tabel, but its Hella Hard. (Ive tried, there is literally NO room in front of or behind the wheels)
