my grandmother left me two train set they are the Prussia  and the the Dewitt Clinton set. what do i have? should i give them to the kids to play with or not?

They are kind of delicate. It depends on how old the kids are.

I would either sell it or give it to a collector. I had the John bull set and as much fun it was running, it was more of a display model.
