I read that Bachmann was going to have this available for 'O' gauge in the spring of 2012.

If so, is there a version or application for HO?

This is a motorized street/road track for Autos, etc that can be installed in a layout along with the train layout.

The O gauge version is out and for sasle.

Just wish some of the H.O. stuff was made in O gauge as well. Seems as though some of the models produced are made in just H.O. or just in O gauge, an example; some of the two story passenger cars are made in H.O. only, Bombadier like what Tri-Rail in south Florida uses.

You are so right. It can be really frustrating to see a great model and then learn you won't be able to use it on your own layout because it is the wrong size. FWIW, there is a valid reason for this: Model companies are in business to make money. It costs a great deal to bring a model to market and almost as much again to produce the same model in a different gauge. Add the relative sizes of modelers' choices of scale, and you can see why HO has just about everything; N has a broad selection of products, though not as much as HO; O is somewhat limited but growing due to some excellent new products from Williams, Atlas, MTH and others; and large scale and On3 offer many new products as interest in those scales grows almost exponentially. The best way to see more models in your scale is probably to be an active modeler. Buying, building and running models shows manufacturers that there is a market for their wares and encourages them to invest in new products. One hand, as they say, washes the other.
