DCC Sound (whistle, horn)

 Does my n scale Bachman 4-6-0 locomotive have horn and whistle sounds included in the dcc decoder? How can I get them to work with my NCE Power Cab controller?

If it's the decoder installed at the factory, then no. The factory installed decoder is a very basic one. If you want sound you will have to change out the factory one for a sound/motor decoder.

First, check the Bachmann documents here in the Bachmann site to see what the loco has for sounds.

Read the NCE Power Cab manual. I have that controller and that is what I did.

Go join the Yahoo NCE DCC Group and ask there also.

Ok, I might be having a DUH moment but I just looked though the N scale Product information and do not see any sound for N scale. Maybe others can comment on this.
Maybe the OP was given a modified Bachmann loco.

Bachmann does not have any N scale 4-6-0's with sound.
