Season 16 Boost or Bust?

My goodness, that new voice for Charlie has just made the first US episode of Season 16 for me a bust. It honestly sounds even worse than previously. If they just kept the UK voices, but put in the US narrator, then I would approve of it.

I stick with UK as I grew up with it, Charlie's new US voice sounds silly and derpy. *coughPONIEScough*
Some reasons I don't like US is that calling the trucks "freight cars" doesn't seem right to me, only for american trains, though and they're not made in America except Hank and a couple of others. Also, Thomas sounds too heroic where his UK voice sounds perfect and not too heroic.
