Experimenting with a new camera

I have to admit most of my  35mm cameras were purchased before auto-focus was an option.  To be honest that is the way I  like it .  I  have Olympus  OM-1 , OM-2 , and OM-2D camera bodies ,  Minolta X370 , and Nikon , I have enjoyed them All.  The newer  CCDs are smaller than the original film areas.  I really find composing photoes off exterior panels in bright light is just short of impossible.  There are some relatively decent digital cameras with viewfinders  but to get the digital equivalence of SLRs gets to be an expensive proposition. Addmitedly the ease of printing with a printer is faster ,  but I enjoyed developing and printing in the Darkroom. It was more art than science.  J2

Informative as always.  I am downloading "CombineZP" right now.  It's a free focus-stacking software package.

I'm in the middle of a couple other projects right now, but am looking forwards to trying out this software at the earliest opportunity.
