Silver Series Amfleet Chassis

Anyone noticed that the Amcafe chassis is mounted the wrong way around. OOPS!
An easy fix. and then there is the seating arrangement...

The coach however is a bigger headache. It has an Amcafe chassis. I feel a mod coming along if anyone is interested in a pic blow by blow?

I ran across a similar situation with a couple of Walthers cars some years ago. A combine and a coach had the others interior,

I had a combine with rows of seats across the entire car except for thw washrooms and a coach that only had seats for about half of its length.

It took months before I was aware of the mistake.

I was very lucky that I had each of the others interiors. An easy fix. I would bet that some other owners were not as lucky.

Unfortunately this is an issue that NO manufacturer has been able to avoid (Walthers or Bachmann)  except in the case where Bachmann was only cranking out Amfleet I coach cars.  I don't know why Bachmann never did the cafe car version in their older run of Amfleets.
