hi backmann, i want to know if HO DIESEL GP30 canadian pacific part 62303 and HO DIESEL GP35 can pac part 60705
are of the same color? and are they from the same era? .would they go together.do they have a beaver logo? thank you

Hi, I have two Canadian Pacific GP30's and two GP35's.  The GP30's are a good colour match to authentic CPR colours.  The GP35's are not quite the same colour as the GP30's.  In fact, I would suggest the GP35's colouring is off slightly (the tuscan red is what appears off).  Nevertheless, mine seem to run well as a pair of GP30's or GP35's or as a mix and match lashup.  None of these engines have the beaver shield logo on them.  I don't believe the original engines did either. those locomotives are wearing their as built paint jobs and numbers. as such they would be appropriate for the 1960s.

later these locomotives were renumbered into the 5000s and painted in the standard cp rail red.
