That was an amazing episode. Not to mention that the narration almost sounded like that of Wille Rushton's. Keep up the good work!
1. Skarloey, 2. Rheneas, 3. Sir Handel, 4. Peter Sam, 5. Rusty, 6. Duncan, 7. Ivo Hugh, 8. Duke, 9. Fred. I am a fan of the Skarloey Railway from The Railway Series.

Thanks! :) You can thank tardisrescue from YouTube for the fantastic narration. He did a fantastic job :)

Haven't seen anything posted in this thread for a little while :P We should fix that, eh? ;)

Both of those series are Top notch! Each has a special feature to it that makes it unique! I'm sure it takes alot of effort to make these series. I have one in the works, but all that I have of it so far are episode descriptions on my YT channel. Here's a link.

Just scroll down a bit and you'll find the episode descriptions. They sound kind of silly, but they will turn out to be like the RWS. I tried to make them realistic.  What do you think? ThomasFan247 actually has a chunk of the script for the first episode.  :)

Working on my own at the moment, although I'm building the stock I need to film it. Whilst it's less of a series and more of a book adaption, it won't be the only one.

I'll post more on it when I have something to show.

Sounds good! I, too, have started some work on a Thomas and Friends fan fiction of my own. It's currently in the form of a short story, and I hope to use it as a script for an episode once it's finished. First, however, I need to construct some buildings and trees for my layout, and then film my "Toby" music video for a boy scout merit badge.

Here's what I have for my short story so far. I hope you enjoy it!

Excitement was brewing on the Island of Sodor. A brand new rock crusher had been constructed, and was scheduled to open very soon. Each of the engines wanted to be the first one to work at the rock crusher, but Sir Topham Hatt hadn’t yet announced who it would be.
A few days before the rock crusher’s opening, the engines met by the station for their weekly meeting with Sir Topham Hatt.
“Late again?!” chuffed Gordon. “I swear, if Sir Topham Hatt doesn’t bother to show up on time to these meetings, then I really don’t see the point in having them!”
“Oh, would you relax?” said Toby. “It’s only been ten seconds after the hour.”
“And yet every time we pull a train,” said Henry, “we’re expected to be right on time, down to the millisecond. It’s unfair, I tell you!”
“Okay, first off,” said Edward, “no one on this island has ever expected us to be that precise, and second off...”
“Pah!!!” cut in James. “No one may expect you or that worn-out tea kettle to be right on time, but they can always depend on me. I’m the most reliable engine on the railway, getting my trains to their destinations with time to spare.”
“Yeah, right!” said Toby. “If you’re so reliable, then how come you were so late in delivering the milk yesterday?”
“Uh... that wasn’t me, it was Henry!”
“No it wasn’t!” yelled Henry. “I was in the workshop all day yesterday getting a repaint!”
“Which is why I was forced to take your freight train!” Gordon huffed. “If I have to pull even one more coal car...!”
“Oh, for goodness sake, Gordon, freight cars aren’t that bad!” said Edward. “I’ve been pulling them for years, and I’m perfectly fine!”
   “Well, that’s debatable...” snickered James.
   “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I think you know what it means.”
   “Why I ought to...!”
Meanwhile, while the argument between the five engines raged on, Thomas and Percy were having their own conversation regarding the rock crusher.
“So Thomas,” Percy said, “do you think Sir Topham Hatt will tell us who’ll be working at the rock crusher?”
“Well, I suppose he will,” answered Thomas. “If he doesn’t announce it today then there won’t be any time left to prepare for the job. He’s cutting it awfully close, if you ask me.”
“Hey, do you think he’ll assign me to work at the rock crusher?”
“Uh... even after the three accidents you had last week? ...Sure, I don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t give you the job!”
   “Oh, goody! “
Just then, Sir Topham Hatt’s car pulled up to the station. When he got out, Thomas and Percy saw that he was eating an egg and bacon sandwich.
“*Burp* Uh, sorry I’m late,” Sir Topham Hatt said as he finished the last bite. “The line at the restaurant was rather long this morning. Oh, I say, what’s going on over there?” He gestured towards the five other engines, who were all still engaged in their heated dispute.
“Oh, that,” said Thomas, “I think it has something to do with... coal cars... milliseconds?”
“And tea kettles! Don’t forget the tea kettles!”
“Uh, yeah. Thanks Percy. Anyways, something along those lines.”
“Well, I certainly can’t have my engines wasting their time with such nonsense! If you’ll excuse me...” Sir Topham Hatt walked over to the raving engines, pulled an air horn out from his jacket, and blew it loud and clear. All the engines went into a dead silence.
Then Toby spoke up. “Um... Sir? Why are you carrying an air horn with you?”
“That’s a personal matter I’d rather not discuss. Now, shall we begin our meeting?”
“...Yes,” said Edward. “That would probably be a good idea...”

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking forward to filming it myself. I even plan on performing the voices of all the characters! It'll probably be many, many months before I start on a video project, though (not counting the "Toby" music video).

Well cool! Can't wait to see it!  :D  I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Might as well remove my comment.  :P

I (under the name Lhatt63) am working on a fan series myself, over on the Sodor Island Forums, called "The Old Iron Quarry Stories". Just using elements from Season 5 of T&F and forgotten-about characters to make a series.. first 'episode' is in progress now, and will be posted to the thread in the next few days.

Sounds great! I look forward to it! :)
