bachmann 00 gauge class 25 lights

dear all this is about my class 25 (weathered)lights



the lights  change colours depending on which direction it is going the only thing is when it goes one way with the drivers facing forward the front light come on along with the rear lights but when it is going backwards with the drivers facing backwards only the rear light light up the front ones dont does anyone else know why + is it normal
