Diesel horn

The horn on my diesel (GP38) is very low. Is there any way to make it louder?

When was it made? The Williams before Bachmann had an adjustable screw that looked like an older TV volume knob with a short shaft on it, and that was how you adjusted the volume. Not so sure with the Williams by Bachmann units.

I tried to adjust a newer True Blast 2 volume switch and it would not act properly for me.
