Changing DCC back to DC

I have the 5003 & 5008 Bachmann CP engines. I set them to DCC with their corresponding engine numbers -- now I want to switch them back to just DC.
Please help me to do this. I am using MRC Prodigy Advanced Squared

Unplug the decoder and plug in the DC adapter on the PC board.
Disconnect the DCC controller and connect up the DC power pack.
