How do I get the shell off of a EMD F7A?

I am not real good with shells, but felt the need to share here - What you first need, is to list the brand name of the loco (Athearn, Bachman, Atlas etc) They are all different in how the shell comes off. After that, someone with 'shell rmvl' expertise may chime in with a solution - Tim

If it is the 8 wheel drive Bachmann, not the one with rubber tires, there are two screws sunken in holes between the trucks and fuel tank. They are offset from each other. Watch the front coupler as you remove the shell.
