GP40- DCC

I don't understand, but I have a Newer, Gently Used Penn Central GP40. I use my DCC controller, but it's DCC on board. when I activate the light in forward, the reverse light comes on. I DON'T GET IT!!!!! javascript:replaceText('%20>',%20document.forms.postmodify.message);

I forgot something. the wheels were a little greasy and I wiped them. I also noticed some dust.
