I got a Bachmann GP7 and the thing really runs great. What I want to do is find out what sound decoder will fit in the unit. Sound decoders are a bit expensive and I don't want to buy ones that don't fit. Really wish one of these decoder companies would figure this out. Any way, has anyone installed a sound decoder in one of these?
If you have and can email me at [email protected] I would really appreciate any information on this quest.

Thanks
Steve

Do a Search of the General and HO forums here. There is info on this issue.
I would suggest unlocking your email address and not posting your email address in the body of the message. You can go back and modify your message and remove the address.
Spammers and Hackers use software to scan the Internet for any email addresses.
Only those here can see your email address when they click on your name if you do not hide your address.
An MRC decoder goes for around $50.00. Be careful of ebay as older MRC sound decoders had bad rep. Litchfield Station, a very good DCC seller will not even stock MRC decoders.
Other brands are more expensive.
