magnets

Please explain installation and operation of under track magnets for ez-track.  I am in the process of building a 8ft x 12ft main board with two 2ft x 8ft extensions that i have taken from your planning book.  Before I permantly fix the track to the board I would like to place these magnets at points in the layout for operation on storage tracks but I would need to know the how of these magnets.
